Listen to the Melodians

To listen to the Melodians you can follow the YouTube link to hear recordings made at various events, or you can buy our CDs.  We have three Melodians CDs for sale. We use Paypal when selling them, but don’t worry if you don’t have a Paypal account – you will be asked if you’d like to use a debit card instead.

Melodians Magic – Released 11th December 2014 (£10 plus £1.80 postage and packing)

This album tells the story of the creation of the English Magic film as seen through the eyes of the Melodians. This includes the 3 English Magic sound tracks and another 9 favourites played by the Melodians at the concert in Venice and the opening concerts on the UK tour of the Exhibition.

The English Magic sound track was recorded at Abbey Road Studios on 13th March 2013 and the other 9 tracks were recorded at BBC Maida Vale Studios on 22nd November 2014.

PAN Y2K – Released in 2000 (£5 plus £1.80 postage and packing)

Released to celebrate the new Millenium. Engineered, Produced and Mastered by Phil Rynhart at ‘The Raunch Studio’.

The BT Melodians Steel Orchestra UK Live at Hertfordshire University (£10 plus £1.80 postage and packing)

Released in 1998, recorded in October 1998 and mixed at ‘The Raunch Studio’, the selection of tracks demonstrates the ability of both the Melodians Steel Orchestra and the steel pan to play a wide range of music from classical to contemporary. At the time the Melodians was sponsored by BT.

The Melodians Steel Orchestra Live at Hertfordshire University is 73 minutes of the Melodians Steel Orchestra at their very best.
