This album tells the story of the creation of the English Magic film as seen through the eyes of the Melodians. This includes the 3 English Magic sound tracks and another 9 favourites played by the Melodians at the concert in Venice and the opening concerts on the UK tour of the Exhibition.<\/p>\n

The English Magic sound track was recorded at Abbey Road Studios on 13th March 2013 and the other 9 tracks were recorded at BBC Maida Vale Studios on 22nd November 2014.<\/p>\n

Released in 1998, recorded in October 1998 and mixed at \u2018The Raunch Studio\u2019, the selection of tracks demonstrates the ability of both the Melodians Steel Orchestra and the steel pan to play a wide range of music from classical to contemporary. At the time the Melodians was sponsored by BT.<\/p>\n

The Melodians Steel Orchestra Live at Hertfordshire University is 73 minutes of the Melodians Steel Orchestra at their very best.
