Melodians Year 2015

A typical Melodians Year

2015 1

2015 was another busy year for the Melodians and started with a bang on the 7th March with a big party to celebrate Terry Noel’s MBE announced in the New Year’s Honours. Terry received his award from HM the Queen at Windsor Castle on 6th March and celebrated in style the next day at the Barn Hotel in Ruislip.  However, he was not allowed to get away without playing the basses at his own party while wearing his award received the previous day.

There were no overseas trips in 2015 but it was still a very busy year with 18 engagements. The events included 6 charity events, a collaboration with the Clayground Collective in the Clay Cargo weekend at Granary Square, 2 public concerts, participation in the National Learn to Play Day as well as another 8 mixed events.
